Fullerton Food Photographer
Downtown Fullerton is where Plate to Pixel started. Menus, cocktails, delivery-app photos and reels for Fullerton restaurants and bars, shot on location.
Orange County is home. I’ve been shooting food here for twenty years, for kitchens that range from a Disneyland dining room to a falafel counter — and none of them want the same light. I bring the lighting, work around live service, and shoot stills and vertical video in the same visit, so your menu, your website and your social all come out of one shoot.
Need a food stylist in Orange County? For restaurant shoots that don’t need a full stylist, I offer touch-up food styling at a reduced rate, with shot design, propping, surfaces and basic props from my own styling kit. When a dish needs to be built or cooked from a recipe, I bring in experienced food stylists I’ve worked with for over 10 years. See food styling →

Food photography in Fullerton
Fullerton is my hometown and the place I shot my first restaurant menus twenty years ago. I photograph bars and restaurants across Downtown Fullerton, the Harbor Boulevard corridor, Amerige Heights, the Cal State Fullerton area and the industrial kitchens and food brands around the city, with a full mobile lighting setup that works around live service.
What I shoot in Fullerton
Restaurant and menu photography, cocktail and craft-beer photography, delivery-app photos for DoorDash and Uber Eats, lifestyle and dining-room photography, chef and bartender portraits, pastry and dessert, product and packaging, and restaurant video and reels. Matador Cantina has been a client since 2010, and the chef-driven kitchens on Commonwealth and Harbor are where a lot of my portfolio was built.
Areas I cover around Fullerton
Downtown Fullerton, the Harbor Boulevard restaurant row, Amerige Heights, Sunny Hills, the Cal State Fullerton area, the Fullerton Loop and neighboring Brea, Placentia, La Habra, Anaheim and Buena Park.

Fullerton food photography questions
How much does a food photographer cost in Fullerton?
Flat rates start at $495 and include unlimited images from the shoot. Most Fullerton menu shoots run a half day; hourly is available for a handful of dishes. Video and reels start at $695, and photo and video together are quoted as one flat rate.
Do you come to my restaurant in Fullerton?
Yes. Every shoot is on location, and Fullerton is a short drive from the studio with no travel fee. I bring lighting, surfaces and a small styling kit and work around your service.
How many dishes can we photograph in a day?
A half day usually covers 12 to 20 dishes and drinks; a full day covers a complete menu plus the room, portraits and reels. The kitchen's pace sets the number more than my camera does.
Can the photos be used on DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub?
Yes. Delivery-app images are shot to each platform's crop and background requirements in the same session as the menu and lifestyle work.
Do you also shoot video for Fullerton restaurants?
Yes. Vertical reels, short menu videos and longer brand pieces are shot on the same day as the photos. Wreckless and Matador Cantina in Fullerton were both photo and video projects.
How fast will I get the photos?
Edited photos are delivered within three business days. Video edits take about a week, depending on the amount of footage.
